For this chair, we use polyvinyl chloride(PVC) material and a metal tube with an epoxy powder-coated finish. However, why do we use the material for the dormitory chair? The polyvinyl chloride(PVC) material is very light and it has a strong quality, and this material is also environment-friendly.  In my old school day, the dormitory chair is a wooden seat so it is very heavy, so you need to use two hands to hold it and carry it to where you wanted to use it. And also have trouble when we need to clear, but for this chair, we can easily carry and move.
